Im a single mum livin on benefits and i really cant afford 160 a month.I'd guess the fixed rate is the unit charge - not your monthly payment. We're also having new economy 7 meters installed on Tuesday as Warmfront have given us electric storage heaters free on their grant scheme.
Any of your thoughts or opinions on this would be great. They are crap service wise too, giving you lots of different 0845 numbers and not one of them will give me an answer to my question.I'll get my mum to have words with them as she's quite harsh and to the point and doesnt take any of there crap. When i had my storgae heaters in my flat the saved up the energy during the night when the rate was cheaper then the were hot during the day so they still use engergy during the day at the higher rate. Im seriously thinking about changing to a pre-payment meter as it least that way, I know how much I'm paying etc.Even if put in 20 a week, its still loads cheaper than what Scottish Power are charging me.
